My eJEWcation

Mission Statement:
The mission of this site is to reflect upon and explore the ever-changing landscape of formal and informal Jewish education, the exceptionally broad, panoramic spectrum of rich Jewish life, and the most fascinating phenomenon of technology implementation and integration into our lives in general and schools in particular.
Brief Biography:
After earning my Rabbinic Ordination and completing my M.A. in Education, I began my teaching career in my alma-mata, The Moriah School in Englewood, NJ. Over the course of the past fifteen incredible years, I have had the merit of teaching alongside some of the finest educators and learning with some of the most remarkable students. The memorable experiences that spanned these years have collectively painted a magnificent piece of art that I look back upon with a tremendous sense of satisfaction and fulfillment. It is with these experiences that I intend to channel my energies, focus and attention in serving as Assistant Principal of our Middle School.
For the past nine summers, I have also participated in the informal side of education. Serving as Learning Director and Program Director in the largest day camp in the area, I have benefited from designing a less structured, yet highly productive learning setting.
Along the way, I have earned certification in Life Coaching and counseling, which I have utilized in my private practice as well as in daily life. I have found my discussions and interactions in this field to be most meaningful and invigorating.
Closer to home, I have also been elected and served as Director of the Board for our 83 family, gated community for the first three consecutive terms since its inception four years ago. This position has given me the privilege to help keep the community safe, vibrant and fiscally responsible for my family and neighbors.
